Hiking

• Here you can find my NCO-House Tour directly from the camp. With a great view, right through the forest and past Icelandic horses. Very nice with a dog too. Length 2km - duration 30min.

• Swimming Pond Niedermurach including a new children's playground with zipline. Easily accessible on foot. 2km past the abandoned quarry on an almost empty road.

• One-hour hike to Obermurach Castle, great views of the Upper Palatinate Forest from the tower. You can see your camper from up there ;) The key to the tower is available at any time at Obermurach 58. Large knight children's playground next door.

• Wildstein castle ruins with a wonderful view after a short hike, easily doable even with kids. Tavern Wildenstein invites you to take a break afterwards.

• You can also go on longer hikes directly from the NCO. We have information material for you on site. Just talk to us.

Ride a bike

• 4 km from NCO away is the start of Bavarian-Bohemian Friendship Cycle Path

• Barn tavern Pertolzhofen located directly on the cycle path. Food and drink Friday and Sunday. Often great events.

• Many events take place at Guteneck Castle all year round.

Swimming

• Bursweiher idyllic swimming pond with kiosk

• Swimming pond Niedermurach including a new children's playground with zipline. Easily accessible on foot. 2km on an almost empty road.

• Public swimming pool Oberviechtach, 6km away, also easy to reach by bike

House rule

Time - You are welcome to sit around the campfire longer in the evening, but we ask that you adjust the volume accordingly from 10 p.m. and be considerate of other guests.

Garbage - Currently (mid-2024) we don't have a way to dispose of your garbage, we are working on it and ask you to take your garbage with you until then. In the center of the village you will find a public glass container.

Dogs - we are dog lovers and have a dog ourselves named Kira. Kira, like your dogs, is allowed to run free on our property. It's just that our four-legged friends usually, but not always, get along well. We also ask you to be considerate of others and to leash your dogs accordingly if you have intolerances.
